Following on from the success of our Technogel Tour 2011, we are pleased to announce the Technogel Tour 2012.

Tour Details

Technogel is based in Bergamo, a beautiful ancient walled city high on a hilltop which once was a Roman Municipality. About 40km north east
of Milan, this town and it’s well preserved centre will be our base.

Technogel make some of the finest, most robust, not to mention advanced ice cream equipment available today and we are proud to be their
sole agent in the UK. During the tour you will be able to see machines being made, speak to the designers, see the machines in action along
with a visit to an industrial ice cream factory, as well as an artisan ice cream parlour….or two! There will be time for sightseeing, shopping as
well as relaxation and of course the famous Italian hospitality.

Provisional Tour Program

Tuesday 6th March 2012

• Arrive Bergamo early morning
• Visit to an industrial producer with continuous freezers, rotary filler, linear filler, fruit feeder, etc.,
• Lunch
• Return to Bergamo
• Hotel check-in
• Free time
• Dinner

Wednesday 7th March 2012

• Technogel factory tour in Bergamo
• Demonstration of Artisan machines aimed at new starters
• New ideas, new flavours, new techniques - demonstration hosted by a gelato chef - improve your ice cream!
• Lunch
• Demonstration of industrial machines, technical presentation
• Free time to explore Bergamo
• Dinner

Thursday 8th March 2012

• Visit to ice cream parlours
• Lakeside lunch
• Return to Bergamo airport

Delegates will have to make their own way to and from Bergamo, and provide their own accommodation, though all meals and transport will be sponsored by Alfred & Co and Technogel. However, we will book this on your behalf in a centrally located hotel and aim to keep the cost to £70-£80
per night or thereabouts. For this we will need a deposit of £100 per delegate at the point of booking.

And we’re putting together a special discount structure together between ourselves and Technogel for delegates who order a brand new Technogel
machine before the summer of 2012 – just the icing on the cake!

When we’ve run these trips in the past they have been heavily oversubscribed and judging by the interest so far this one will be too especially
as we have to limit it to 15 delegates on first come, first served basis.
